WE HELP SOLVE CUSTOMS-RELATED ISSUES

THE COMPLEXITY OF CUSTOMS PROCEDURES

Each country outside the European Union has its own specific customs regulations and procedures. Even if you ship the same goods to different countries, you must comply with different procedures, which can be complex and time-consuming. For example, customs procedures for importing goods from China to Poland differ from those applicable to imports from the USA or from EU countries. We understand these differences and are able to manage the entire process efficiently, regardless of the country of origin of the goods.

CHANGING REGULATIONS

Customs regulations are not static—they change in line with trade policy, international agreements, and other factors. A clear example is the post-Brexit situation, when companies had to adapt to new regulations governing trade between the United Kingdom and EU countries.

DIFFERENT DUTY RATES

Different goods are subject to different duty rates, which may vary depending on the country of import they are shipped from. For example, a car shipped from Brazil may be subject to a different customs duty rate than the same car shipped from Canada.

GOODS CLASSIFICATION

Each product has its own CN (Combined Nomenclature) code, which is crucial for determining customs duties. Incorrect classification may result in improper duty charges and lead to issues with the Union Customs Code. We ensure smooth customs processes and full regulatory compliance.

CUSTOMS INSPECTION

International shipments may be subject to customs inspections, which can delay the delivery of goods. Depending on the type of goods and the destination country, the risk of inspection may be higher or lower. We know how to minimise this risk by preparing all required documentation and ensuring full compliance with customs regulations.

DUTY REFUNDS

In certain cases, it is possible to apply for a duty refund, but the procedure is complex and requires detailed knowledge of customs regulations. We have the expertise and experience to manage duty refund processes, helping our clients recover overpaid amounts.
